REACHING OUT and SERVING OTHERS
What: A way to be in service for the least of us. Providing food and Prayer to local Loomis Basin community neighbors during the “Holy-Day” season. When: December 1st through December 24th, 2021
How: As a family, say a prayer and place a food item in a bag each day, every other day, or once a week.
Then bring them to Church on Christmas Eve, December 24th.
(Please place them in the Sanctuary near the side door. Please DO NOT block the exit door.)
What: Any food item that is unopened, that has not exceeded its date code, has a label and is NOT dented, damaged or open. If possible, the Food Pantry really needs small (1-2lb) bags of Flour & Sugar, small (12-24oz) bottles of Cooking oil & Pancake syrup, PB&J, Dried milk, Stuffing mixes, dry Cereal, Ramen noodles and/or anything else that you would enjoy eating.
Why: This year, 2021, we have already exceeded the number of Food Pantry Client visits of 401 in 2020. The Loomis Basin Food Pantry is a critical ministry that our church provides to the Loomis Basin (Ophir, Newcastle, Penryn, Loomis and Rocklin) Communities and other adjacent communities.
