Roseville Food Kitchen

On the fourth Monday of the month, we’re in charge of preparing and serving lunch to those in need at the First United Methodist Church in Roseville. Our typical menu consists of spaghetti, soup, salad, a side dish, bread, seasonal fresh fruit, dessert and beverages.

The morning starts with some of the helpers meeting for breakfast at 8:00am at a local restaurant near the Roseville Methodist Church. At 9:00am all helpers gather in the kitchen of the church and the activity begins: the vegetables are washed and chopped, the spaghetti, soup, salad, and dessert are prepared. The serving line is set up and serving begins at noon.  The serving line closes at 1:00pm and final cleanup is generally complete by 1:30pm.
